SARAH AND THE BIG WAVE

Based on the the real life of Sarah Gerhardt, the first woman to surf the huge cold water waves called mavericks, Sarah and the Big Wave is a children’s book written by Bonnie Tsui and illustrated by Sophie Diao. I was tasked with bringing these pages to life with a proof of concept that serves as the starting point for a 9-minute, biopic style short film.
